Under the theme "Smart Metering - The Catalyst for Power Sector Digitalisation" the 11th edition of Metering India 2026 invites high-quality technical papers that explore how smart metering technology and data intelligence are transforming utilities, empowering consumers, and accelerating India's journey towards a Net Zero energy future.
The event is structured across five focused sessions designed to spark substantive dialogue on the most pressing challenges and opportunities in smart metering today.

Authors must register and submit papers online at: www.meteringindia.ieema.org
Papers previously presented at any Seminar, Conference, or published in any Journal in India are not acceptable. Authors must submit a declaration to this effect.
The Principal Author is exempted from the participation fee. All co-authors must register as delegates and pay the delegate fee.
Trade names or brand names of any product or service must not be highlighted or promoted in any form. While critical reviews and analysis may be included, the paper should not be critical of any specific product, process, service, or technology.
Papers must represent original, unpublished research. The Organising Committee reserves the right to reject any paper found to be copied or previously presented at any conference in India or abroad.
To motivate the presentation of high-quality papers, three best papers will be recognised through cash awards. A panel of experts will evaluate papers on the following parameters:
Novelty of subject (disclosure of new methods, processes, design philosophies, etc.)
Activity undertaken (original work, experimentation, practical case studies, R&D work, etc.)
Future activities and recommendations suggested
Clarity, quality of written text, and presentation skills
Relevance to the conference theme
